I Love Pretty Things

During a leisurely walk around the Capitol, I couldn't help but capture these pretty flowers. I don't know the name of the tree that blooms the last flower, but I love it. It's absolutely gorgeous. Thanks, L., for having your wonderful camera phone available since I didn't bring my camera.

"El Immigrante"

I saw this beautiful and poetic mural in the mission this weekend. I believe it was titled "El Immigrante." However, I do not recall the name of the artisit. For that, I apologize. If you are familiar with her/his work, please let me know. Sea libre!

7/13/09 Update: I remembered to visit the mural again (which is located on the corners of Shotwell and 23rd St. in the Mission) and learned that the artist is Joel Bergner.
